Community Development Block Grant Program Meeting Notice
The Town of Jupiter invites you to public meetings regarding the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. These free, public forums are offered on:
January 18, 2017 • 11 am January 19, 2017 • 6 pm Both meetings will be held in Meeting Room C at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
This public forum provides an overview of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program including eligible grant activities, CDBG accomplishments, and solicits input from the public for funding priorities.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awards grants to entitlement community grantees to carry out a wide range of community development activities directed toward revitalizing neighborhoods, improving economic development, and providing improved community facilities and services, principally for low-to-moderate income persons and neighborhoods.
Jupiter residents are strongly encouraged to attend these free meetings to learn how the program works and have important questions answered.
