Beginning Monday, October 30th, 2017 lane closures on Central Boulevard, in both the northbound and southbound directions will be implemented between Indiantown Road and Toney Penna Drive. These lane closures, approved by Palm Beach County traffic, are necessary for pedestrian, vehicular and worker safety during construction of a 30" watermain across the travel lanes of Central Blvd., between the entrances to Chasewood North and Chasewood South Communities. Lane closures will include merging of southbound traffic into one lane, merging of northbound traffic into one lane, periodic shifting of all traffic from one side of the median to another, temporary closure of existing median cuts, and temporary closure of a portion of sidewalk on the west side of Central Blvd. Traffic control devices will remain in place and traffic patterns will shift during the course of construction to best provide for pedestrian, vehicular and worker safety. It is anticipated that traffic will return to normal patterns in mid to late January 2018.
