  1. Child & Babysitting Safety Course (Aug 1 & 3)

    August 1, 2017, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Jupiter Community Center

    The American Safety and Health Institute Child and Babysitting Safety training program is designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings. The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic care giving skills, and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants. This is an ASHI Certification course.

  1. Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids

    August 1, 2017, 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM @ Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum

    Join us under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & Local Plants and Animals. Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Please bring a small beach/picnic mat for your child. Program is free, space is limited, runs approximately 45 minutes, weather permitting, limited space, RSVP required 561-747-8380 X101 by the Friday before program date.   2. National Night Out Against Crime

    August 1, 2017, 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Roger Dean Stadium

    Mark your calendars for the 2017 National Night Out! This year, the Jupiter Police Department is partnering with Roger Dean Stadium to host a National Night Out event. This police and community partnership program takes place all across the U.S. on the first Tuesday in August. In Jupiter, neighborhoods will join together as one community at Roger Dean Stadium to bring awareness to crime and drug prevention; generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts; strengthen the neighborhood spirit and police community relations; and send a message that our neighborhoods are fighting back against crime. Also part of this free event is a baseball game and other fun activities for kids and families. If you have any questions, please call 561-741-2278.

  3. FREE Festival of Inner Peace

    August 1, 2017, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

    The Festival of Inner Peace is a multi-city tour of world-class performing artists who utilize uplifting, soothing and life-affirming music and dance to connect us to our inner selves. All the performers practice meditation in their daily lives and reflect that quality in their art. The festivities uniquely combine Flamenco and Indian culture. The tour will perform free-of-charge in the Jupiter High School Auditorium on Tuesday, August 1, 7 - 8:30 PM. Please visit Festival Registration to reserve seating and print your FREE tickets.

Youth Camps

  1. Fishing Camp (Session 2)

    August 1, 2017, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Jupiter Community Park

    The campers will learn to tie different knots, bait a hook, learn water safety and learn to identify different freshwater and saltwater fish in Florida. We provide fishing equipment, rods, bait, etc. We also have a fishing tournament on the last day of camp followed by an awards ceremony. Because of fishing equipment, this camp is limited to a specific number of campers, so please sign up ASAP! Join us for a great week of fishing and a chance to catch a trophy fish! (We release all caught fish!) Location: Jupiter Community Park, 3377 Church Street, Jupiter, 33458 Space is limited: Minimum 10 / Maximum 40

  2. Skate Camp (Session 5)

    August 1, 2017, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Jupiter Skate Park

    The Town of Jupiter Recreation Division will be offering Skateboarding Camp at the Jupiter Skate Park during the Palm Beach County Summer Break. This interactive camp will be run by Locals Surf Shop at the Jupiter Skate Park facility. Activities will include evaluations, skill development and enhancement, drills and free skate.
