- At this time we do not have a timetable on when we will resume facility reservations. Resuming reservations will largely depend upon recommendations from the CDC, County and other local municipalities.

Any rental of the facility must be made by an incorporated Town of Jupiter business, a chartered civic organization within the Town, or other Jupiter public school, or government entity.
Reservations are accepted in person on a first come, first served basis, at the Jupiter Community Center (200 Military Trail west of Town Hall), during normal business hours. Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with the exception of holidays and closings due to maintenance. Leases that are emailed, mailed or faxed will not be accepted.
|1.||A business owner is defined as the person who's name is on the Jupiter Business Tax Registration.|
|2.||An incorporated Jupiter entity is one that is within the Town of Jupiter municipality.|
|3.||A Non-Profit must have a 501(c)3 Certificate|
|4.||To receive a tax-exempt status you must provide the Florida State Tax Exemption Certificate at the time of booking.|
|Who Can Rent|
|1.||Applicants must be at least 21 years old and provide a State issued driver’s license, or a State issued identification card.|
|2.||To make a reservation for a private event, Applicants must either own an incorporated Town of Jupiter business that retains a current Town of Jupiter Business Tax Registration or be sponsored by the same. If you represent a Town of Jupiter chartered civic/non-profit organization or other public, educational, or government entity you may also qualify to rent the facility.|
|•||For an Incorporated Jupiter Business|
To make a reservation, a lease must be signed by the incorporated Jupiter Business Owner in addition to a copy of their Town of Jupiter Business Tax Registration. If the business owner will not be signing the lease in the presence of Recreation Staff, the business owner's signature must be notarized.
|•||For Incorporated Chartered Civic & Non-Profit Groups|
To make a reservation, the local chapter president must sign the lease and provide the established by‐laws, charter documents or 501(c)3 certificate for Recreation staff approval. If the local chapter president will not be signing the lease in the presence of Recreation Staff, the local chapter president's signature must be notarized.
|•||For Local Public Schools|
To make a reservation, the principal or assistant principal must sign the lease. Only student functions will be considered for fee exemption on a case by case basis.
To make a reservation, the director or department head must sign the lease. Fee exemptions will be on a case by case basis.
|How to Rent|
|1.||Print and read lease.|
|The Civic Center lease is a legally binding lease agreement. (See Related Documents Tab). It is the responsibility of the applicant and business sponsor to read the lease and understand the rental policies stated in the lease agreement. Failure to comply with the rental policies will result in security deposit deductions. For complete rental policies please read the entire Civic Center lease.|
|If you are the business owner, you will need to come to the Jupiter Community Center, (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-8 PM or Saturday, 8:30 AM-4 PM) with your ID and Town of Jupiter Business Tax Registration, to sign the lease in the presence of Recreation staff. If you are not available to make a reservation in person you will need to have your signature notarized. Once the lease is notarized you may send a representative on your behalf to make the reservation. Don't forget to send a copy of your Town of Jupiter Business Tax Registration with your representative.|
|If you personally do not own a business in the Town of Jupiter you may have an incorporated Jupiter Business sponsor your event. You will need a copy of the sponsoring businesses Town of Jupiter Business Tax Registration to submit with your lease.|
|•||You can either meet the Town of Jupiter business owner with their ID and Jupiter business tax registration at the Jupiter Community Center or have the business owner's signature notarized on the lease so that you can make the reservation without the business owner present. You will still need a copy of the Jupiter Business Tax Registration if the Business Owner is not present when making the reservation.|
To confirm a reservation a completed lease, required paperwork and rental payment is expected at the time of booking.
We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. The security deposit payment is not required at the time of booking. It will be payable in cash or credit card only when you pick up the keys to use the Civic Center. This is outlined in the KEYS section of the lease.

The following restrictions do not represent all rental policies and restrictions. Please be sure to read the entire lease as it will affect you monetarily if you do not comply with the rental policies.
|1.||All rentals at the Civic Center, including 2 consecutive day rentals, CAN BEGIN, INCLUDING SET UP, NO EARLIER THAN|
9:00 AM and must end, including clean‐up, NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT. No exceptions to this time frame so plan your
|2.||The Applicant is solely responsible for cleaning the facility BEFORE leaving the premises. Applicant’s $700 security deposit will be reduced or withheld in its entirety if staff determines that a rental resulted in lease violations and/or damage to the facility and grounds. Everything (decorations, equipment, food, cakes, drinks, etc.) MUST be removed from the Civic Center and premises before you leave on the day of your paid rental unless you have paid for 2 consecutive rental days. You are not permitted, under any circumstances, to come back the next day, even if the facility is not rented, to clean up, remove decorations, equipment, food, etc. ***Failure to comply WILL result in total loss of your $700 security deposit.***|
|3.||The rental of tables and chairs, in addition to or in place of, is not permitted at this location.|
|4.||The use of balloons in Carlin Park is PROHIBITED.|
|5.||Palm Beach County Sea Turtle Protection Ordinance. Every year beginning March 1st and running through October,|
sea turtles come ashore to lay eggs on Palm Beach County's beaches. Unfortunately, artificial lighting visible from the
beach often causes sea turtles to become disoriented, preventing them from finding their way back to the ocean. As a
result, under no circumstances should the applicant add lighting to the Civic Center that can be seen, directly or
indirectly, from the beach. This includes interior lighting as well as exterior lighting in the sea grape area south of the
building, along the walkway up to the facility and around the porch. Failure to comply may result in fines from
numerous agencies that patrol the beach at night.
|6.||Use of Fabric/Material Decoration Restrictions|
As required by law fabric/material used in public spaces for draperies, curtains, and similar hanging textiles, must be
certified as flame retardant with a NFPA 701 certification. In addition, any gathering of material must be less than 12”
wide with a minimum spacing of 10’ in between gatherings. Decorations/fabric/material must be at minimum 24’ away
from any fire sprinkler heads. Do not hang anything directly on fire sprinkler equipment, (thicker pipes running
East/West) including pipes, or block the flow of water from fire suppression equipment.
|7.||Fires are NOT permitted on or in Palm Beach County beaches and parks.|
|8.||Only Jupiter based civic groups/organizations, Jupiter based non‐profits/501(c)3 organizations and Jupiter based public schools will be permitted to host fundraising events at the Jupiter Civic Center.|
|9.||Food trucks, rented amusements, etc. are not permitted to operate at the Civic Center or in Carlin Park. This includes bounce houses, food trucks, etc.|
|10.||The facility is not to be used as a way to gain direct or indirect monetary benefit to any person, business, or group, other than for charitable causes.|
|11.||The Town of Jupiter requires a vendor (businesses providing services Town rental property) to register with the Recreation Department when entering into a signed contract with an individual who is renting a Town of Jupiter facility. Renters may use their own vendors; however, vendors must register at least 60 days prior to the rental date. It is the Applicants responsibility to notify each vendor of this registration requirement. There have been a few changes to the lease and rental fees so please be sure to read the entire lease as it will affect you monetarily if you do not comply with the rental policies.
This unique, rustic facility is a real Jupiter treasure. With beach access, the Civic Center’s relaxed, old-Florida character lends itself perfectly to any informal occasion. The facility is located at the northeast end of Carlin Park and a great place to host your next wedding, reception, birthday party, picnics, family reunions and memorial services. Renting of the facility is intended for recreational and leisurely activities. The Town of Jupiter prohibits any rental facility to be used as a way to gain direct, or indirect, monetary benefit to any person, business, or group, other than for charitable causes. All applicants may be denied rental of the facility for good cause by the Town.
Hours you have access to facility on your paid rental day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at midnight. This includes set up and clean up time so plan your event accordingly!
