2020 Election Notice
TOWN OF JUPITER
ELECTION – MARCH 17, 2020
The Town of Jupiter General Election will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the following two seats.
First District Seat - Three Year Term - Candidate must live in the First District.
Second District Seat -Three Year Term - Candidate must live in the Second District.
Notice of Candidacy
Candidate qualifying will be held from 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 through 12:00 P.M. Noon Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the Town Clerk’s Office at 210 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL .
Filing Fees: First/Second District $221
The Filing Fee is $35.00 plus 1.0% of annual salary, with a check drawn on the Campaign Depository. All Candidates must be registered voters and have resided in the Town for 6 months prior to the election.
All Candidates shall be elected by the Voters of the Town at Large on a nonpartisan basis. If a run-off Election is necessary, it will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
The Registration Books for the Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Municipal Election will close on February 18, 2020.
The deadline to request that a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed is no later than 5 p.m. on March 11, 2020. Otherwise, a vote-by-mail ballot can be picked-up at the Supervisor of Elections office until and including on Election Day or visit www.pbcelections.org.
