How to Apply for Funding

In 2006, the Town of Jupiter established a $3 million economic development fund in support of an interlocal agreement with Palm Beach County.The fund's purpose is to support economic development and growth that generates jobs for north county residents.Following the establishment of the fund, Jupiter's Town Council also established an advisory board,which provides recommendations regarding the distribution of the funds (resolution No. 102-07).The Board oversees funding for the Northern Palm Beaches (Mangonia Park, Riviera Beach, Jupiter, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Lake Park).

If your organization or company is in the Life Sciences and has plans to locate or is already located in the Northern Palm Beaches, you may qualify for funding.Funding may take the form of a grant or loan, depending on the situation.

To be considered for funding, please download and submit the application below.Upon receipt of your application, the the Town will review the information and contact you within 2 weeks with questions or requests for more information.

If your application meets the general criteria, a representative of the Town may visit your facility to review your current business activities, and you will be invited to make a proposal to the Town in person. If the Town Council votes to provide funding, you will receive a proposed term sheet outlining the level of assistance being offered, and the timing of the funding.
