The train tracks adjacent to the Loxahatchee River Bridge (located along Alternate A1A) will undergo significant reconstruction for reinforcement as part of the Brightline Trains expansion of its high-speed rail project
Beginning the week of May 11, residents can expect to see the mobilization of cranes, materials, equipment and crews as well as pile driving to install temporary work trestles for crane access. The majority of the work will take place during daylight hours between 7 am and 7 pm. During the initial phases of this project, neither road nor boat traffic will be impacted. The project is expected to continue until mid-2022.
