Palm Beach County's project to create a new roundabout of Central Blvd and University Blvd is underway. Beginning March 1, the segment of University Blvd. between the northbound and southbound lanes of Central Blvd. will be closed to traffic.
The closure, which will be 24 hours a day is expected to last about 90 days. Central Boulevard will remain open to traffic during this time. Motorists and pedestrians should seek alternate routes.
Lane closures on northbound Central Blvd are also currently in place. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 9am – 3pm.
Motorists and pedestrians should use caution when traveling the area. The project will enhance the safety of the intersection and is expected to last approximately 5 months.
