  2. Earth Defenders Girl Scout Workshop

    Join the River Center for a special Girl Scout workshop on Saturday, October 2nd! Superheroes unite at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area! This program is open to all levels of Girl Scouts and they can earn the Earth Defenders patch. This is a beautiful natural area and the girls will help to keep it that way by working on a few different projects. Projects will be age specific. Beach Brigade will pick up garbage along the shoreline, Periwinkle Patrol will pull up invasive wildflowers, Vine Squad will attack the love and coin vines overgrowing the trails. Don’t miss this action packed event! All participants will need to wear closed-toe shoes with socks above the ankle and dress for the weather. Please bring a drawstring backpack with a water bottle, snack, hat, sunscreen, and garden gloves. Adult Supervision is required. No Tagalongs, please. No walk-ins or add-ons after the event is closed.
