Come explore with us! Tie up your hiking boots and join the River Center on Tuesday, Nov. 23rd for our Nature Walk through the Culpepper Ranch, part of Hungrylands Wildlife Management Area. Walk along the guided paths and immerse yourself in this local natural area. This path has uneven terrain. Interested participants should wear closed toed shoes, long pants(recommended), a walking stick, comfortable clothing and bring plenty of water. Please RSVP to attend. Space is limited.

Open to all sewers, quilters, crafters and learners. Bring friends, family! BRING: Your project(s) and what you need to work on them. Bring any Show & Tells you’d like to share. Especially bring info on charity projects: nursing home needs, pillowcases, quilts, etc. Knit/Crochet: Yarn, needles or hooks, pattern. Needlepoint/Crewel: Canvas, threads, etc. Quilters/Sewers: Sewing machine, feet and attachments, notions (thread, pins, etc.). Jewelry Makers: Your kit! Please bring any beverages in a lidded containers. Scrapbookers: Your kit! Pages and embellishments, photos, etc. PROJECTS we've done or are thinking about: Mug rugs, wall quilts, tote bags, quilted hats, quilted purses and/or lunch bags, pillowcases, prayer shawls, lap rugs/quilts, hand puppets, lace work pictures and ornaments. Let’s get to work sewing, crafting and quilting projects for our community!
