  2. Boating Safely Class- Virtual 2-day Course

    The River Center continues to collaborate with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flotilla 52” to provide a series of Boating Safely Classes targeted specifically to young boaters in our community. These classes are provided through a generous sponsorship by the AustinBlu Foundation, a not-for-profit dedicated to raising awareness and promoting educational programs to improve boater safety. Recommended for children 12 years and up.

  3. International Coastal Cleanup!

    September 18, 2021, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Coral Cove Park

    On Saturday, September 18th the River Center is hosting the International Coastal Cleanup which includes a massive removal of litter and illegal dumping from our public spaces – neighborhoods, roadways, waterways, parks, schools, etc. This cleanup will take place Saturday, September 18th from 9:00 am – 11:30 am in Coral Cove Park. Interested participants should bring a refillable water bottle, closed toed shoes, sunglasses, and a hat. Help us reduce our waste by bringing a bucket and garden gloves! No pre-registration is required. First participants to the event receive a free t-shirt.

  4. Lighthouse Story Time & Crafts for Kids

    September 18, 2021, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum

    Join us under the shade of our Seminole Chickee Hut as we read exciting stories about lighthouse keepers, Florida history, and local plants & animals! This program is ideal for children aged 8 and under. Children receive a fun take-home craft activity, too. Please bring a small towel or mat for your child, as well as a bottle of water! Please arrive 10 minutes prior for check-in. Gate closes/no admission after 10:40am. If you have not been fully vaccinated, please continue to wear a mask. This program is free & runs approximately 30 minutes. Story Time will be cancelled if there is inclement weather OR high heat.
