Elected to Town Council in 2022, Councilor Schneider previously spent time on Jupiter’s Planning and Zoning Commission. She was a co-founder of the Jupiter Inlet Foundation in 2017 and has also served on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency.
Prior to moving to Jupiter, Councilor Schneider spent 17 years as an international telecommunications attorney. She left the profession in 2003 to pursue a passion for baking. After attending culinary school, she ran a successful small business as a chocolatier.
Councilor Schneider and her husband David moved to Jupiter from Maryland. She has a B.A. in Telecommunications from Michigan State University, a JD from American University, and a certificate in Pastry Arts from L’Academie de Cuisine. The Schneiders have two daughters; one is a meteorologist for the National Weather Service and the other is a graphic designer for UCF Athletics.
