Athletic Facility Use
Athletic Facility Usage Policy
The Town of Jupiter’s new Athletic Facility Usage Policy recognizes the value of balancing the needs of Jupiter residents in accessing the Town's athletic facilities with the needs of other organizations that may need to use the fields for practices. The policy establishes time when the Town's athletic facilities are available for free use by Town residents and creates a tiered system for reserving facilities to further benefit those programs aimed at Town residents.
The policy applies to all potential users of Town athletic facilities, including residents, Town-run programs, youth sports organizations, travel teams, tournament organizers and non-residents.

Reserving Town Athletic Facilities
The new policy makes it easier for Jupiter residents to request and reserve Town athletic facilities:
- Simple Process: Applications and supporting documents are submitted by email and reviewed by staff to ensure everything is complete and meets the guidelines.
- Affordable Fees: Costs are based on type of use and residency status, with lower fees for Jupiter residents.
- Seasonal Scheduling: Schedules are published each year, and residents receive confirmations in advance. If conflicts or closures occur due to weather or maintenance, Town staff will work with residents to find alternatives whenever possible.

Staffing and preparation needs will be evaluated by Parks and Recreation staff based on the nature and schedule of the event.
Resident Fee Compliance Requirement: This policy helps ensure incorporated Town of Jupiter residents receive the full benefit of their residency.
