Art Committee

Mission

The Art Committee’s mission is to develop and promote interest, support and appreciation of the visual arts to all residents. In addition, to encourage the use of art and promote an attitude of support for visual arts within the Town of Jupiter and help establish a spirit of community.

Meetings Schedule

The Art Committee meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of the month beginning at 6:00 pm in the Jupiter Community Center Art Room, 200 Military Trail, unless otherwise noted. Summer schedule may vary.

Membership Eligibility

The Town of Jupiter Art Committee is comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers that are appointed by the Town Council based on their qualified experience and interest in the arts.

Invitation to Artists

The Town of Jupiter Art Committee welcomes visual artists and craft-persons to submit their work for review by the committee regularly.

Applicants are evaluated on authenticity, creativity and quality. Selected applicants will then be scheduled for an exhibition during the upcoming season, which begins in October of each year.
