In light of the ever changing situation with the COVID-19 virus, the Town has made the decision to cancel all reservations at the Jupiter Civic Center and Old Town Hall through May 31, 2020. If you have a rental during this time frame please contact me at your earliest opportunity to cancel (with a full refund) or reschedule your event. I want to reassure you that we are ready to work with you regarding any changes to your upcoming reservations. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

All reservation requests/permits for the Old Town Hall must be submitted online.  Walk in permits will no longer be accepted.  If rental is approved, an invoice will be emailed to the application contact with instructions on the what to do next.  If the application is not approved and/or the date/time is not available, the email will explain the details. 

Rental Policies

Fees and Rental Categories

  1. The Old Town Hall is available for lease by incorporated Town of Jupiter:
    • Homeowners associations and Jupiter Management Companies
    • Chartered civic groups (
    • Non-profit organizations Must have a 501(c)3 certificate from the state
    • Residents
    • Businesses
  2. Old Town Hall rental hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM and on Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  Closed Saturday and Sunday. 
  3. First step in reserving space for this facility is to complete the Online General Request Application.
  4. All meetings must be paid in full, at least 2 weeks in advance of the first meeting date.
  5. Lessee is responsible for opening & closing facility and set up & clean up.
  6. Hours billed for this facility begins when you access the facility for set up through the hours of your reservation and will end when your clean up has been completed.  (For example, if your set up begins at 1:00 pm, your event is from 2-6 pm and your clean up ends at 7 pm, time billed will be from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm.)
  7. Under no circumstances will a person/business be permitted to use the Old Town Hall, or other Town property, as a way to gain monetary benefit, directly or indirectly.
  8. Alcohol is permitted on a limited basis.
  9. Food is permitted on a limited basis.
  10. There are no kitchen facilities at this location.
  11. If food is served, lessee must remove the trash when leaving premises.  Please do not put garbage in the outside trash can.
  12. No decorations are permitted on walls, no tape (of any kind) including command hooks.
  13. There are 10-6’ tables and approx. 50 chairs available at this facility.
    No additional chairs or tables will be provided.
  14. Dates will NOT be held over the phone.
  15. Ongoing monthly meetings will be required to pay in advance for the entire year. Payment is expected at least 2 weeks prior to the first meeting.
  16. No group should assume that their meeting date will be automatically carried over from year to year. Ongoing monthly meetings will be required to complete a reservation request application each year. All letters will need to be received by January 1st of each year.
  17. All cancellations must be received in writing (200 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458), by fax (561-745-2559) or by e-mail at least 5 days in advance of rental.
  18. A refundable $100 security deposit is required when picking up the key at the Jupiter Community Center.  Security deposits may be paid by cash or credit card. (VISA, MC, AMEX only.)  Deposits paid by credit card must be refunded back the credit card and a 5% processing fee will apply.
  19. It is the responsibility of each group to pick up the Old Town Hall key during normal operation hours at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, on the day of or prior to the scheduled meeting day.
  20. Community Center normal operating hours are: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-8:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Community Center is closed on Sunday.
  21. It is the responsibility of each group to drop-off the Old Town Hall key during normal operation hours at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, on the day of or the day after your scheduled meeting day.
  22. Community Center normal operating hours are: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-8:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Community Center is closed on Sunday.
  23. No lessee has the authority to permit another group to use the Old Town Hall or lend another group the key to use the Old Town Hall. All reservations must go through the Town of Jupiter (561-741-2400). Violators will automatically lose their meeting privileges.
