Public Records
Thank you for your interest in Town of Jupiter public records. The Town has implemented a number of measures to ensure easy access to public records.
To Submit a Town Public Records Request or Track the Status of a Request Online:
In most cases, Town records can be accessed online at your convenience through an online search. These “searchable” records can be accessed through searching the Town website or through the Town’s Online Search Portal. This Online Search Portal provides easy, 24-hour access to view and print the types of records listed in the table below.
Types of Records that can be located in the Online Records Search Portal:
| Building Records | Building records prior to October 1, 2015. Please visit the Jupiter Community Development System for Building records after October 1, 2015, or visit the Building Department Records webpage to submit a Building records request through JupConnect. |
| Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) | Access meeting minutes. You can also visit the Agendas section of our website to browse minutes, agendas and backup items, or to listen to meeting audio for the previous two years. |
| Contracts | Access archived agreements and contracts approved by the Town Council. |
| Deeds and Easements | Access archived records related to Town deeds and easements. |
| Ordinances & Resolutions | Access ordinances and resolutions enacted/adopted by Town Council. |
| Planning and Zoning Commission | Access meeting minutes. You can also visit the Agendas section of our website to browse minutes, agendas and backup items, or to listen to meeting audio for the previous two years. |
| Town Council | Access archived meeting minutes and agenda packet materials. You can also visit the Agendas section of our website to browse minutes, agendas and backup items, or to listen to meeting audio for the previous two years. |
Additional methods for viewing or requesting public records:
Code Compliance Records
To request a code compliance violation or lien, request records from Code Compliance using JupConnect. To access agendas for Code Compliance Special Magistrate Hearings, visit the Agendas section of our website.
Personnel Records
To request a personnel record or file, please email the Human Resources Department or contact them through JupConnect.
Police Department Records
To search crime statistics, an accident or crash report, or to search for an incident or crime by street address or date, please visit the Jupiter LexisNexis Community Crime Map. To request other Police Department records, please visit the Police Department Records webpage for additional information and instructions.
Search Assistance & Records Request
If you don’t find the information you’re seeking, please contact the Town Clerk's Department for assistance. A team member can lead you in the right direction, or if needed, assist you with a public records request.
Public record requests are typically made for older records or those of a sensitive nature. Please note, as a citizen, you are able to make public records request in-person, in writing, by phone, email, or facsimile. Please read the complete Public Records Request Guidelines.
