Rental Categories & Fees
Any incorporated Jupiter resident, Jupiter business, Jupiter non-profit and Jupiter civic group is eligible to rent the facility provided they are within the guidelines of the Community Center Policies and within incorporated Jupiter. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Unincorporated or non-Jupiter based individuals, businesses, non-profit and civic groups may rent the facility if sponsored by a Jupiter based resident, business, non-profit or civic group. All categories should expect to pay a security deposit unless otherwise waived.

Category 1 – Sponsored
This category encompasses Town of Jupiter sponsored events/programs, Palm Beach County sponsored events/programs, other governmental agencies, and Jupiter based public schools. There are no RENTAL FEES associated with this category however, additional charges may apply, for example, dance floor rental, set up charges, security deposits and overtime fees. Due to an in demand for weekend rentals Category 1 reservations are limited to Monday-Thursdays unless pre-approved. Personal, social functions may not be booked under this category: weddings, retirement, and birthday parties.
Category 2 - Civic
This category includes groups that provide a service to the Town of Jupiter and are governed by a board and by-laws. A State of Florida Tax Exemption Certificate will also be required when submitting the request application otherwise tax will be charged. Personal and social occasions will not be recognized by the Town of Jupiter under the Civic status. Personal and social events are defined as weddings, birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, retirement parties, etc. Examples: Incorporated Jupiter Homeowners Associations, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce. In addition to rental fees, additional charges may apply, for example, dance floor rental, set up charges, security deposits and overtime fees. Hours billed will include set up time & clean up time.
Category 3 - Non-profit
This category is defined as an organization that is governed by a board and by-laws and possessing a 501(c)3 Tax Exempt Certificate. Groups claiming Non-Profit status will be required to provide documentation verifying their tax exempt status each time the group submits a request application. A State of Florida Tax Exemption Certificate will also be required when submitting the request application otherwise tax will be charged. Personal and social occasions will not be recognized by the Town of Jupiter under the Non-Profit status. Personal and social events are defined as weddings, birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, retirement parties, etc. In addition to rental fees, additional charges may apply, for example, dance floor rental, set up charges, security deposits and overtime fees. Hours billed will include set up & clean up time.
Category 4 - Resident
Incorporated residents may rent the facility for private functions. This is defined as a wedding, banquet, birthday celebration, anniversary party, retirement party, employee recognition and meetings not otherwise categorized. Proof of residence is required. In addition to rental fees, additional charges may apply, for example, dance floor rental, set up charges, security deposits and overtime fees.
Category 5 - Business
Incorporated businesses may use the facility for meetings and private parties. Under no circumstances will a business be permitted to use the community Center as a way to gain monetary benefit, directly or indirectly. A State of Florida Tax Exemption Certificate will also be required when submitting the request application otherwise tax will be charged. Businesses must be within the city limits of Jupiter and have a current Town of Jupiter occupational license. In addition to rental fees, additional charges may apply, for example, dance floor rental, set up charges, security deposits and overtime fees.

Overtime | $40 Per Hour Per Staff | Overtime charges are assessed when a rental does not occur during normal business hours. The amount of staff needed to supervise your event will be up to the Facility Recreation Coordinator. All rentals must end by midnight, including clean up time. Decorating & Clean Up Time Set up, event hours and clean up hours are all billed at the hourly category rental rate. | Per Hourly Rental Rate | Category hourly rate begins at the time your permitted access begins and when your permitted time ends.
