Engineering Plan Submittals

Engineering plans for residential or commercial site development or redevelopment, for utility work, or for other private or public infrastructure modification work, shall be submitted for review and approval as part of an application for an Engineering and Utilities Permit.
Approval of submittal is required prior to permit issuance.

The following documentation, as a minimum, shall be submitted for engineering plan review:
  • Engineering Plans -  Signed & sealed engineering plans shall be submitted. Drawing set shall include paving, grading, striping, signage, sanitary sewer, storm water, water main utilities, etc. (as may apply to the specific application).
  • Final Landscaping Plans - One set shall be submitted. Plans shall be updated to incorporate all site plan conditions of approval.
  • Final Site Plans - One set shall be submitted. Plans shall be updated to incorporate all site plan conditions of approval.
  • Detailed boundary or topographic survey -  Survey shall include all existing easements, buffers, and other recordings, etc., such that all encumbrances on property are defined.
  • Site drainage calculations -  (as may apply to the specific application)
  • Engineering plan review fees per Town of Jupiter Code
  • Water Management Permit - Copy of South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Permit and other applicable water management agency permits shall be submitted. (as may apply to the specific application)
  • Palm Beach County (PBC) or Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Permit - Copy of any applicable permits that are required for connection or modification to PBC or FDOT Right-of-Way.  (as may apply to the specific application)
  • Minimum submittal requirements for Engineering Plan and Plat Review Applications.
  • Maintenance of Traffic plan for any right of way that is affected by the planned work or any active commercial development or residential subdivision roadway or parking area that is affected by the work.
