Scammers are sending fake fraud alerts by text message and phone calls, convincing victims to withdraw cash and hand it to a third party.
Remember:
Banks and law enforcement will never ask you to withdraw cash or give money to someone. If you receive a suspicious message:
- Do no reply.
- Do not click links.
- Call your bank directly.
