2025 Little Free Library Grant Program Application

    This program is for Town of Jupiter organizations only. The goal is to expand and enhance the Little Free Library (LFL) network in Jupiter. Please note that the proposed library will be the sole property of the applicant.

    Please note, the application will be an on-line form. An incomplete application cannot be saved unless you create a profile for yourself. You can, however, cut and paste to the form from other documents.

    All projects will be reviewed by Neighborhood Services. A $500 reimbursement grant to replace or add new LFLs will be given to applications meeting criteria. All incomplete applications and projects not meeting the review criteria can be rejected. There is an annual budget of $2,500 for this program.

  3. 1. Project Description

    Provide a description of the library location. Provide a map of the area along with photos of the area in its current state. Please note that you need to have site control of the proposed location.

    How will the project benefit the Town of Jupiter and its residents? Also, describe how the project will provide a long-lasting benefit to the neighborhood.

  6. 4. Reimbursement Details

    Community Building Grant: Neighborhood Services will provide a $500 reimbursement grant to replace or add new LFLs after a ribbon-cutting event and proof of purchase.

    Grant Agreement: Ownership of the LFL will transfer to the sponsoring business/organization, which will oversee its maintenance and designate a steward until the program concludes. The library must be maintained regularly with regular visits and quality control of book inventory.

    Annual Budget Cap: Five grants per year, totaling $2,500.
